In order to be able to provide the most fair user experience possible for both car owners and renters we have certain cancellation policies and fees for all bookings. If the cancellation is made within the timeframe that entails a fee, the fee will be gifted to the other party as compensation. The fee varies depending on when the cancellation was made.
How do I cancel a booking?
A booking can be cancelled before it starts via the app or the website. You can find all confirmed bookings or booking requests under the tab "Bookings". You simply cancel it by clicking "Cancel rental/Avboka hyra".
If the renter cancels the booking
As a renter you can always cancel your rental request and get a full refund back as long as you do so no later than 48 hours before the start of the rental period. If you decide to cancel your booking less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, you will have to pay a cancellation fee to the car owner who has reserved the car for you. The cancellations fee's are as follows:

If the car owner cancels the booking
When you accept a booking at GoMore as the owner of the car, you are expected to rent the car to the renter who made the booking for the specified time period. If you decide to cancel the booking later, for example because the car is no longer available or you want to use the car yourself, you have to pay the renter a cancellation fee as compensation. In addition to a refund, the renter also receives GoMore Points that can be used to book a new car. The cancellation fee is deducted from your GoMore earnings.

When a car owner cancels a booking the renter receives a full refund within 1-3 bank days to the same payment card that was used when creating the booking. The points are gifted immediately upon cancellation.
Please note that the above rules only apply to confirmed bookings. Unconfirmed rental requests can always be canceled/denied at no cost.
